Of course these values only apply when devices are on the lowest brightness setting while the higher brightness settings would limit battery life drastically to a couple of weeks. Discussion Starter 1 Apr 10 2016. This is not any different than looking through a red dot if you dont look straight through it. Unboxed it mounted it up and appeared to work good. Shut it off put the cover onethen 3 days later took it out to look at it. Ordered a new Vortex Venom red dot for my newly acquired Glock 40 MOS.
