Friends while shooting my Tamron SP 150-600mm5-63 Nikon mount the other day the autofocus suddenly ceased to function. Meaning that it laboriously shifts the plane back and forth a few times and finally locks on something close to focused but not quite. Theres a swich there full 03 - 05 and 05 to infinity. Tamron 10-24mm auto focus problems. Bascially the autofocus on my Tamron 90mm Macro lens has stopped working. Having had problems getting this lens to auto-focus correctly it seemed unable to focus on far subjects and Ive had to resort to manual focus of all things.

Times that focus should be easy the camera doesnt search it just does nothing as I push the shutter half way. I am facing autofocus issues with Tamron SP 70-300mm F4-56 Di VC USD from yesterday. Then used with old Canon 70-200 28 IS and now notice same issue. No warning no adverse events or issues it just quit working. Heres some shots taken with my D810 and the Tamron. I did not use my Tamron SP AF 90 mm f28 lens for last 6 months. In my opinion a lens which has such a zoom range offering versatility will be a bit weaker in other areas such as the said lens. Apparently the G2 version is OK but version 1 isnt. Also the real obvious one is having the AFMF switch on MF.

For any focal length past about 120mm the autofocus varies from barely working to not working at all. However I recently purchased the Canon RF 800mm and I am having a heck of time with the autofocus.

Turn off the camera depress the lens release button and rotate the lens clockwise until it detaches. Tamron 10-24mm auto focus problems. Its a great lens but totally useless on the Z6.

Across the ranges of 28-33mm and 41-120mm the autofocus appears to work just. Friends while shooting my Tamron SP 150-600mm5-63 Nikon mount the other day the autofocus suddenly ceased to function. 16-300mm f35-63 Di II VC PZD Macro B016 manual focus only 18-200mm f35-63. Tamron 28 90mm Macro lens has suddenly stopped autofocus. Just a guess try cleaning the lens and cameras electrical contacts you could use 999 isopropyl alcohol Q-tips there could be some debris and rusting specially since you dont use the lens much. Across the ranges of 28-33mm and 41-120mm the autofocus appears to work just. Was provided another lens and had less trouble.

Autofocus can be used Autofocus can be used at f8 supported sensors. Then reattach the lens by inserting it and rotating counter-clockwise until it locks. I was using it on my D80 happily last week and I switched to manual for a couple shots then back to auto. The auto-focus on this lens no longer properly works across the focal length range of roughly 33-40mm and 120-300mm.
